Changes to M1 SunPerks Program

I just saw this message in my M1 statement:

A big thank you for your continuous support of our SunPerks Program. Stay tuned for exciting updates as we prepare to
launch a new rewards program coming your way soon. In the meantime, you can continue to earn points till August 2020 bill
and make redemption from SunPerks catalogue till 31st October 2020. Once again, thank you for your support.

I wonder if they are discontinuing the issuance of rewards points, similar to what Starhub has done as well?

No news yet. So far, I have some points which is insufficient to change for anything except for lucky draw chances.

I have a strange feeling that they may go in the same way as StarHub where they do away with the points system and just throw some discount coupons here and there.

The reception of M1 at my place is really terrible. I may jump ship after this once my contract has ended, especially if the reward program is horrible.

Thanks for the alert! I just went to see my bills after seeing this tread and found the message on the last page of my bill (probably why I missed seeing it).

I have similar feeling that they will follow StarHub's footsteps too. Luckily I just redeemed my points, and one of the contract coming to an end soon, looking forward to the day when all contracts end and guess M1 will be out of my life just like StarHub (had bidded goodbye and good riddance to SH last year..)

You are so lucky. I only had 1K points and nothing to redeem except the lucky draw chances. I hate it when they don't give advance notice. I am likely to end my lines with them too once my contracts end.

Now in Dec, no news of any new rewards program by M1 at all. In addition, just saw this in SIA KrisFlyer email as well:

CESSATION OF PARTNERSHIP WITH M1
M1 is no longer a KrisFlyer mileage accrual partner from 1 November 2020.

No more rewards program already is it?
