take helicopter rah
A bit leh cheh. Need to file flight plans. I had flown a Cessna and Lear from Seletar before. Can't fly straight line. A lot of restricted airspace in SG. Always under tracking by air defence radar. Slight deviation, careless, and ADO start hailing with warning. So helicopter is out

Changi Village to Jurong West, you can use the suggestion on Google Maps, which is almost parallel to Downtown Line, then via Bukit Batok and Boon Lay Way. 7 hours minimum, but 9 to 10 hours is more realistic.

Woodlands to Sentosa, Google Maps says to use Woodlands Road, Railway Corridor, Queensway, Alexandra Rd & Telok Blangah Rd. 5 hours minimum, but 6 to 7 hours is more realistic.
Ok. Thanks. I will plan for my next return to SG. Trying new exp is the spice of life.

Well, if the walk is pleasant I don't mind. But it isn't. Most of the distance will have you smelling fumes.

Where's the point in that?

I walked with my FWB from east to west, spent about 6 hours with lunch break at park tor speed

it was a unique experience, seen sceneries that I never see before when driving or taking train

will definitely do it again

Nothing special IMHO

Did trail, marathon, etc

Prefer cycling nowadays
True. I did cycling but a large group is noisy and no fun. My best cycling experience was in Shannon. Hope covid can be mitigated and we can do more hiking, cycling.

Try walking?

If you had done so, is evening better to avoid the heat?

Away from expressway, what is the best route?

I thought it will be interesting, an once experience.

Will take 4-5 hours?

Probably will take a rest along the way, with adequate water supply or buy from vending machine.

Am looking for new experiences.

If walk instead of jog, with breaks and rest in between, may be fun.

Anyone tried? Care to share experience?

I've drove, biked, cycled. So walking is the missing piece.

Still in JP. Had planned to return this month but SG is on JP's red list. I don't think I can get back into JP after SG. We will detour to TW for 3 months. If Covid improves in SG in Apr, we may visit. I'm planning for what to do in Apr.
