My dell vostro 5460 laptop seems to have a battery problem, adapter is plugged in but it keep on showing 0%,not charging/ battery not detected.

Called dell and I was quoted $120 for a battery with 90days warranty. Was wondering if I want to change the battery at computer shop, how much would it be(estimate) and is there any recommended shop for me to go to

$120 is a fair price for Laptop batteries.

You can try call or email to http://battery.com.sg/ and check their price.

Other than that, you'll have to open the battery and change the cells inside yourself... that is the cheapest way.

$120 for battery with installation? - that's a pretty good deal for an original battery. Do check if that includes any service charges.

SLS would be cheaper. But it's not original.

Skimmed through a vid. It's relatively simple to replace.

Until 2min 37 sec.
