Hi there,

New notes are generally available during festive seasons only, such as Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Puasa.

During non-festive periods, branches will only have ‘fit’ notes in the denominations of S$2, S$5, S$10, S$50, S$100, S$1,000, subject to availability.

Notes exchange are available only to OCBC account holders.

Customers will need to present the notes according to below criteria, or an additional fee of S$50 applies:

Sorted according to their denominations and types (paper or polymer/plastic)

•Must not be folded
•Front side should be facing up
•Pack them using rubber bands into 100-piece bundles of the same denomination and type
•Bundle all loose notes (e.g. less than 100 pieces) together
> notes should still be sorted by their denomination
> arranged by size (smallest at the top, largest at the bottom)

Notes exchange/deposit are free for the first S$20,000 per day;
S$10 for every subsequent S$10,000 or part thereof.
