I'm teochew but doesn't know how to speak only understand abit. I'm planning to bring family to visit. My dad was born in Chao Zhou but move to sg when he was a kid.

Anyone have itinerary to share? There direct flight to Chao shan airport with spring airlines.

Which site to search for hotels? There is very limited selection on Agoda and Expedia only those international hotel chain is listed and prices is on the higher end.

I did searched on trip com and there more choices any other alternative to book affordable hotel? I assume ctrip and trip is the same.

You can book the cheaper hotels and end up not being able to check in. There's a reason why Booking and Agoda have much lesser hotels. Not all hotels in China accept foreigners.

Trip and ctrip are not exactly the same in terms of content and choice. You can call hotels before you book, to ensure that they can process foreigners. In terms of official policy, they are not allowed to reject foreign guests,

1 more question will I be able to go fully cashless just by using alipay? Or do I still need some cash? I google and seems some vendor qr code doesn't support international alipay?

Are there any fees to withdraw from china bank ATM using revolut or youtrip?

I know both charge no fees. What I mean is fees charged by china bank for using their atm if any.
