Hi,

I have been using vaseline to moist my lips as I have dry lips.
However recently i having chapped and pus on the upper lips, this happens occasionally and the symptoms always reoccur in the morning when i woke up.
As I research and read from the internet, am i allergy to food products or supplement deficiencies? Shld i try some supplements such as Vit B or zine deficiency and change my facial wash first before consulting a dermatologist? Any advice?

I use Vaseline on my lips to keep them moisturized. Vaseline has been great for me. Consider using a chapstick that can help keep your lips moisturized.

Does it looks like HSV-1? Is it at the junction between the lip and normal skin?
