Charging with ipad charger

I read that the iphone 6 plus can be fully charged faster by using the ipad adaptor rather than the default iphone one.

But will it damage the phone over time?

So far i know that no rechargable batteries can maintain same capacity with each charge. Each charge will decrease its capacity a little. Li-pol will last 300-400 charge cycle.

Even he use the original charger that come with iPhone, it is also the same. The phone will decide how much current to draw, unless the phone draw more than the charger current output, then it is limited by the charger.

Charge with it all day everyday.

Ah, of course. I misinterpreted what you were trying to say, I thought you were saying that the iPad charger would cause the iPhone battery diminish faster.

Using this method for charging since Iphone 4,, afterall it is same USB connection from Apple and slightly higher Ampere is no issue.

It will draw 1A with no issue. Seen reports that it can draw more than 1A if 6+ is being used intensively, e.g. game.

So you can use whatever combination you want, more importantly is voltage. They must match...

Don't have to be used intensively to draw 2.1A.
