Chasis Fans - ID-Cooling/Deepcool

Building a rig for cousin. He wants aesthetics look with those RGB fans, something i'm not familiar with

I saw this 2 brands of 3-pack fans rather cheap. Anyone has good or bad experience?

Been using id cooling fans pack for my rig, with exception of the aesthetic not so good as compare to some of more expensive corsair fans, it served its purpose pretty well at a very affordable price point.

Come each fan pack come with a RF remote if your MB dont have argb and multiple fans can be daisy chain together with the included fan splitter to control using 1 remote.

Yup..3 x exhuast fans on top from the id cooling 360mm Cpu Aio then 2 x id cooling trio pack as intake from side and btm... 9 fans in total thus go for the more reasonable option. ~~"

Alternative to cheap ARGB fans, maybe same class as ID-Cooling. I bought Jonsbro as they have fans for intake side also . Nicer as you dont see the skeleton and cables at the backside of the fans. 3 for $50 with pwm argb splitter. Dont expect stellar performance lah like those premium brands.

Bro how do you cable manage with extension 24 pin & PCIE? I took off mine as with extension cables kindda difficult to tidy up the 2nd chamber with all 9 fans cables.

Are you using the same extension? As I find lian li strimmer length is quite manageable which ended just when it go into the back chamber, so the space taken is quite minimal, mainly just need to route the original 24 pin & PCIE from PSU along the back so that they fit.

Btw, having a full modular PSU also help to minimize the clutter and give more space to stuff the cables in the back.

I used to run a build with 21 fans in the casing and I hardly switch on air fan in the room so the windows were open. It wasn't that bad, just have to make sure you filter all the intakes. With proper filters of course.

I do both, at times aircon and at times fan with open window. Dust wise quite minimal inside the case, just need to clean the intake filter regularly so that the airflow will not be affected.

Did you remove any of the filters? I am using all of mine on my Lian Li O11D Razer and I do see a fair bit of dust on the filter but not a lot get into my case.

Read up on positive air pressure. The idea is to have more intakes than exhaust fans to naturally let air and dust push themselves out.

Yes for my case as Lian Li PC-O11 is not known to have a good airflow case due to it is mainly cater for water cooling and showcasing purpose. E.g. tempered glass front panel.

So for air cooling setup, best is to get in as many fans inside to bring in fresh air and circulate the hot air out.

guess i'll go with ID cooling to try then as he don't too big a budget for fans.

Doing a quick google, deepcool has a new "X" fan which quite cool looking but seems no one really using deepcool much. Furthermore, they use a physical controller inside the CPU to control the RGB Kinda weird when your case is all close up

His corsair 275 case i realize the airflow not as good as said. HDD temp goes as high as 55 degrees when panels all close up
