I have some parts lying around at home, so am thinking to use them to build a home server, just for fun. It will be mainly for storage and download, media conversion purposes.

I already have a Ivy Bridge i3, Asrock B75-Pro, 4GB ram, 2x 4T hdd, 1x 128GB SSD. The current chassis is a mini ATX, no expansion at all. So I think I need to take them off from the chassis.

Shall I go for a cheap chassis? Or I should pay more for a "silent" chassis from a better brand. I hope it is not too big, and really want it to be silent or quiet. Fractal Design Define R4 seems to be very good to be a silent case but I can't find it in price list online.
