CHC Kong Hee still free?

Idk I abit blind or what ar, maybe my eyesight getting worse or what. But eh, I tot the Kong Hee suppose to be in jail? He still can fly to indonesia and conduct sermon, run courses in CHC etc etc?

I tot the straits time say he suppose to go jail on 11th Jan 2016. But still nv go jail?

Any one can educate me? Haha thx.

He appealed against both the conviction as well as the sentence. Court is set to be in September 2016.

it is called an appeal, he probably was allowed bail?

the totally have no idea about how legal procedures go (when so many ppl say they understand police work cos they watch police drama) answer to this is : "PAP humji dun want to piss off CHC members cos they need to do a by-election"

Can only appeal once (case was trialed in High Court) and Court of Appeal is highest court.

After the September trial (which dunno will drag how long again), the verdict will be final.
