MX100 Specs:

4k Random Write: 70K IOPS

SSD370 Specs:
Sequential Read: 570MB/s
Sequential Write: 470MB/s
4k Random Read: 75K IOPS
4k Random Write: 75K IOPS

Any pros here can help me decide or guide me along?

Urgent? If not go for Samsung Evo for $159 promo...

good performance and got samsung very own tweaking software...

not urgent but can't wait too long... so summary is if i can wait i should aim for Samsung Evo, if i can't MX100 will be a better choice than SSD370

2014 is the year of the SSD. Price came down a lot. If SSD 240GB drop to below $100 next year, HDD could be out of the Notebook market, the following year.

It is around sgd 150+ after rate conversion.
