I think even hawker eg laopasat also one meal easily 6++ to 8++

other places maybe Amoy food ct /subway meal / picnic / smu canteen foodcourt / orchard twr / cuppage or those lkk mall if still hv mini eatery kopitiam == one caipng veg , meat , egg maybe 4++ to 6 ish. Or ! Go for those big meals share half with ur bff

I think it’s their cleaning methods of their infrastructure… maybe they nv hire cleaning company and each shop ownself “see how “, that s why hmm a stronk bawu we can’t get used to. Their local specialties got fermented bawu within shops is if u like u think it’s fragrant , u don’t then u think wah can’t tahan

Hmm i volunteered at M country (sadly they hv unrest now) before when younger ? They hv caipng equivalent at restaurants but they told us this side visitor side
That section is locals favorite section. The smells is fermented food smells

& why would they do that

We r city folks , the way we clean city things vs a kampung dweller cleaning their rural places is much different style n methodology. Eg my Pa and me if we do painting or cleaning it looks way way way different. Our standards of what is look good n clean also different. That s why everyone say sg v clean. These ppl hv seen rural, sub urban and urban places .
