Supermarket mock meat is more expensive. 2kg of chicken around $8 only. 200g of mock meat already need around $3.

I also thought abt this before
i think is because those mock meat they get from factory...it is premade and a fixed cost
unlike those sweet and sour pork in caipng stall where they can ownself control the qty of real meat vs flour inside

ended up caipng although real meat (lower cost) vs mock meat (fixed cost)
