ad the otherthing i eally dont like is that the screen is not in the centre, and is not even symetrical. i expect china product to be lower quality, but not aligning the screen is really, unexpectedly beyond my imagination.

It is using lithium polymer battery and by theory it is safe to charge overnight. The most it will get bloated if something happen , won't explode.

While charging battery, you may find it a bit warm but when battery full, you noticed that DreamPad II is cooling not warm at all. It is because the mainboard stop excess charge from going in.

However precaution is better than cure.

For some reasons, even iphone does explode, http://www.google.com.sg/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=iphone+explode

So what goes wrong? Same theory as milk power incident in china, to cut cost and result in tragedy. Maybe the factory was squeeze to dry dry then find way to cut cost lor...

Many pple assume battery is the culprit but come again, before this excess power goes to the battery, where does it goes to first? This is just assumption if base on what i study in school for electronics. Just theory.

So conclusion, precaution is better than cure. This same applies to all products around our daily life, be it branded or non branded.

And remind me of something, wifi in our home does cause radiation but to certain extend but we still on right? some even sleep beside the modem xP ..ops.....

there is a way to do it but i have not tested.

for android, by right the OS is design for mobile so default the mobile application is running in background...

It will keep searching and searching for network while it actually has no gsm module.

as long can disable that function, battery will be long life.

Try battery calibrator but must jailbreak your DreamPad II, that was what some forums is using it helps their pad long battery life.

some even suggest turn airplane mode, blar blar....but we noticed it will crash if airplane mode on then turn on wifi.

Bros and sis out there, help help help!

I had bad impression on this product since 5 years ago, i bought china dual sim card phone, the phone can
use, simple function. Worst part : is not crystal sound. cannot heard properly. Vice versa other also cannot heard clearly too.

1.5 think nothing much to play unless able to upgrade to 2.2... "irobot apad" is just a generic box that china any how print one and almost all look the same la....

normally the screen will not be center la, can take photo and show us? Then maybe i will know if can upgrade or not..

DreamPad II can be customised without camera but only wifi.

If add 3G then will exceed your budget.. you want to use in camp ah?

In Android Operating system, there is something call battery log file.

it will record the maximum and the minimum battery level in the log.

but some time it will get confuse and report the wrong level..

Since DreamPad II is new, the battery need some stretching exercise so the android operating system will slowly know the peak performance and record it down as 100%....

You will be surprised, i can listen to internet radio for at least 3 hours with just 1 bar left with our demo unit.
