Like that might as well get portable media player. Longer battery life than tablets plus native support for more media formats.

Hua Wei Ideos 7 not bad, 400+ and have 3g function, but is there a newer model now in SG?

u shd try out both at Challenger Funan. i find the Archos has a much better capacitive screen than the Huawei

Not sure man, it has a USB port, so it MAY be able to, i intend to use my HTC Incredible S as a WiFi hotspot and use my data plan with the tablet.

This is a review from the site:

External Modem E1750 May 2, 2011
Reviewer: Giuseppe Vacciano from Latina, Lazio Italy
I recently bough one of this tablet from a GB reseller with android 2.2 and I'm very satisfied with it. Could you please confirm that 2.3 update support Huawey E1750 3g USB dongle as in previous version?

Answer: Yes sir, the MID816 does support it.
Thank you

Oh the heck with it, the site is www.merimobiles.com just go there and check out all their stuff, they even got a basic Android 1.6 tablet for $99 USD

i am looking at the MID815 and MID816.

There is any big difference, besides the latter has bigger memory nandflash. The the former says its **MID815 is the metal version of the MID816**

whats that???

Btw, do u think it be easy to find screen protector and a casing for it?

A capacitive screen is a must for me for tablets. Resistive screens r fine for handphones with small screens like the older nokias

Hi all, you guys might wanna consider getting the Dropad A8. It comes with a capacitative screen Surefire :)

I just flashed my equivalent Dropad A8 with the CyanogenMod 7, Gingerbread 2.3.4 and it works like a charm!

You can follow the developments on this thread, it's amazing.. (Just remove the spaces)

http://www .slatedroid. com/index.php?app=forums&module=post&section=post&do=reply_post&f=139&t=17756&qpid=171969

Now I am torn between my Nook Color, this Dropad A8 equivalent and my Ipad 2 that's coming.. But I will end up selling the NC and Dropad when the Ipad comes cos its a present :(

Anyone interested in buying the Dropad A8 off me, please pm me for details. It's essentially brand new, just open yesterday and played around with it (tested the apps, market etc with CM7 Gingerbread 2.3).

but dunno why the CSO sends me an email say some discrepancy with my creditcard and mailing address...
replied them this morning le, hopefully they can sort it out for me...

btw, any of u have exp buying from merimobiles??
