Hi folks. Researched a bit on wopad i7. Looks cool and relatively low cost vs its reported performance. Wonder if anybody here has a wopad i7 and would like to share his/her review on this tablet.

Much appreciated.

I may order 1 next week (either wopad i7 or novo8) if m1/singtel/starhub don't have better tablet promo tomorrow:D

prepare to get then :p
SHB - Free Samsung tab (with MaxInfinity)
M1 - Tablets @ 300++ with Plan

The offer is the same as the past few weeks, IMHO best was during comex where m1 xoom was $198 and you sign up their credit card, upon apporval you get $100 rebate.

Singtel gives the best offer for Galaxy Tab 10.1 16GB & 32GB. But I'm not really considering tab. 32GB comes out now, 16GB prices also no change yet.

Has anyone of u have experience with Archos ARNOVA 4GB 8" Google Android Tablet?Features include an 8" 800x600 touchscreen LCD, 4GB flash memory, microSD card slot, 802.11g wireless, Android 2.1 OS, and more.
What do u think about it?Is it good?Worth or not?

Low res Resistive touchscreen with old rockchip 2818 chip and not even Android 2.2?

you're better off looking for the Arnova G2 series or the new G9 series.

with Amazon coming out with their low-priced tablets, maybe best to hold off for till they arrive. at the very least, all the competing tablets will have to lower their prices. Blackberry has already chopped their Playbook price by US$200!

Add in vpost/borderlinx etc shipping it won't be that cheap...

The Kindle Fire's RRP is US$199. Even if it sells here at S$300, it's def worth considering given the higher specs of the hardware plus the support of the vast Amazon eco-system

It would be the same price range as China android tablets of the same screen size. My only concern is if there's any restriction on the features and functionality.

If it sells in big numbers it might put pressure on the other branded tablet prices to be reduced.

But the Amazon Kindle Fire is only 7". I prefer 10" tablets... but certainly will take a look at it... Amazon promised to make it a smooth experience so I guess it's worth a look... for all you know Amazon might decide to release a 10" version if the 7" flies off the shelves...

The other tablet that I am looking at is the Archos G9 101. But initial reviews are not completely positive. The reviews centre on the 8" G9 which ticks all the boxes with real world use as smooth as any existing Honeycomb tablets. The real boo-boo is that the screen has some whirlpool defect which seems to be due to the flexing of the tablet structure leading to something inside the tablet pushing onto the back of the LCD panel. Does not look good where that is concerned. Otherwise it's a low-priced full featured tablet which is very good value. I'm using the G8 101 so I am really waiting for it to hit S'pore stores. Anyone walked by Storage Studio and seen this new tablet?
