Of these 2 models I would choose V9 only because it runs on RK2918. Both should play games no problem, but RK2918 tablet battery life tends to be better.

Do read up on both model before you decide.;)

i read about these 2 , was so mesmerized by v9 looks lol but was interested in allwinner 10

I'm looking at upcoming Aoson M19 and the possible improvements of U9GT2. They are slim models of RK2918 IPS (by LG, similar to what IPad2 use) multipoints capacitive 9.7" tablets. Price in China is around S$300;)

Sounds cool. Within budget as well. Can you ping me up when its available?

:s13: Try read up on the firmware updates. If they do them often then it's ok, else you may have problem with support.

allwinner might have higher resolution tablet out in Nov. If it's true then bigger screen is possible.

Currently only 8" A10 confirm model I know is Onda Vi30w+, but only 800x600 resolution. I did read momo will have 8" and 10" models for A10.

Maybe u should wait a little

U9GT2 is already in Taobao. M19 is on pre-order, it is said to be out on 15th Nov. U just keep an eye for it. I'm easily swayed to other newer tablets lol

Lol ... I know what you mean ... there is always something better out there. But seriously, I really don't know how you guys keep up with all this. I'm swapped with just keeping up to date. Guess it does take an octopus to survive in the IT world :D

went down to IMM ytd evening, and tested out the Novo 8..

pretty disappointed as it couldn't even play a simple slot machine game i d/l-ed from market..

conclusion: china tabs are still a far notch behind leading brands~

huh? :s13: maybe fake market from previous firmware:s8: It's likely software issue than hardware. Novo8 runs on Amlogic cortex A9 (performance better than GT) with Mali400 (same GS2 base GPU).

So far no problem running stuffs on Novo7A. I'm pretty sure Novo8 can run most of the stuffs, unless the app/game only runs on specific models.

Example, asphalt 6 xperia play version have problems on Novo7A, but asphalt 6 GS2 version runs smoothly on Novo7A. Reason is the gameloft optimized the game based on the hardware. :s13:

I used to own Novo 8 and i installed the market myself....i have NO problem downloading apps and playing them on my tablet...in fact i downloaded too many apps until i ran out of space :s13:

Dont know why you can't run the game there, maybe their display set is faulty.

Imo, the only weakness of Novo 8 is the battery life.

Can I ask you something related to the novo8? My friend has one. And the touchscreen seems to be really retarded around the edges. Even a bit of extra pressure is needed when trying to launch apps. Is the unit faulty? Whereas the n7 seems really snappier where this is concerned...

Hmm didtn really notice anything on the edges...maybe because when i bought it i had a very low expectation...to me the capacitive touch screen when i had it is just fine (i've seen tablets with much worse responses).

Can't say much now though, i already sold my set few days ago for an ipad lol.
