Checking M.2 SSD compatible with Acer laptop

I plan to replace the 128GB M.2 NVMe SSD in the laptop with the below 500GB M.2 NVMe SSD. Is the SSD compatible?

SATA SSD will do fine so not necessary you need NVME SSD.

Your laptop seems to have 2.5" slot for slim hdd or ssd..

If i were you, i will open up to confirm(video seems to indicate so). Buy another 2.5" ssd to use as storage..

The 128gb reaching its limits due to windows and updates?

As long willing to do manual reformat and reinstall all softwares, any nvme should work. Just be sure to extract your Windows cdkey and etc before removing just in case.
