I am trying to check on my fiancee insurance coverage, she's currently serviced by one of her family member (auntie), so wish to know more about the policy information rather than asking the auntie which may be slightly sensitive.
Just to check - so she has a Term plan with Sum assured of 100k till age 65? And no claims made, she will get a cash back.
Then followed by she has a CI, ECI Multiplier 20.
Then for CI, I saw online that the sum assured is 35k, what does the Multiplier 20 means? I read online seems to suggest it's a whole life plan to be paid for 20 years? But is 35k a little bit low? Or is there multiplier involved?
I know some of you may say to contact the aunty for more details but it might be sensitive sometimes and we are not deciding to change or stop the existing plans but looking how to supplement it.
For instance right now my gf does not have a hospital shield plan, so may consider getting one. Also the idea is to get her well covered before we proceed to go with baby and etc. anyone know if an enhanced shield plan is necessary for her hospital stay should she go for delivery? She currently only has the basic plan.
