Hi! Will be in Taiwan this coming weekend - hoping to see cherry blossoms!
Any tips? I'm planning to visit Wuling Farm; any advice on the best way to get there, considering that it's peak sakura season? Will likely be staying a night or two in Yilan to explore the surrounding areas, was thinking of doing some hiking.

Any other tips on where to see cherry blossoms would be welcome!

One of the better (and more accessible) places in Taipei itself to see cherry blossoms. But probably better just to go to Wuling farm to see it :)

It requires a full-day trip - i took the bus "package" from Taipei - 730 NTD for a round trip (the bus waits for you). Very worth it as the sakura there is awesome. I can share some pics if anyone's interested (or you can just google it).

Yup! It depends on the individual - whether they're willing to spend the time to see something really breathtaking (no effort really - just wake up a bit earlier and get to the bus station), or just stay in Taipei and see the usual sights. Me? I think it's more than well worth it.
The journey goes through winding mountainous routes, so best to take motion sickness pills beforehand.
