Think is small little town as compared to chiang mai which is province/city. Correct me if I am wrong.

the chiangrai nite bazaar is nothing compare to cm bazaar,that why the city is boring,nothing much to offer.

You solo right? Go Pai sure emo Seen to me its just like a small little town on hill with a few café worthy of some instagram shots nia. Good place to go with you loved one.

p/s I had nv been there but been reading on it and no guts to challenge the journey all way there just to emo

Not worse, just different. Pai is a nice little place that has no big chain hotels. The choices for accommodation cater to groups in a low-rise resort setting on one end and also some backpackers who head out for activities like trekking.

depends what you looking for ....

i been to pai years ago and find it to have a rather hip / arty community there ... coffee, sabai sabai lifestyle ....

area surrounding pai are more interesting ~ hotspring, mountains, sea of cloud, river rafting etc

Hi all, i intend to visit chiang mai(first time) during feb CNY period. Is the weather still cooling around this time?

It will most probably be a 6d5n or 5d4n trip. Not sure if it is enough.

1)intend to stay near the night market, any recommended clean hotel? Around which location or street name will be good?

2)will be going chiang rai and Doi Ithanon too. It will be good to do day trip or stay there?

3)for Doi Ithanon, recommended way is group tour or book private driver?
