China brand mobile

Hi all,

Plan to get a phablet to replace my old mobile, thought of giving the popular china brands a shot. I'm don't bother too much of on phone specs, since I use my phone mainly for calls, taking photos and listening to music. Will like to have the following:
- Better Quality (Heard Huawei quality is better?)
- Singapore warranty and support
- Stable OS preferably with less bloatware
- Software/Android updates
- 4G

Which China brand is mobile can meet my needs?

xiaomi is ok if you buy their flagship models, but Mi4 is not in Singapore.

at this stage I propose huawei ascend mate 7.

not a low end phone though, not cheap :/

Xiaomi too many firmware issue. Also now under patent issue with Ericson. Suggest to get ASUS for alternative. At least you can get latest Android version update.

Xiaomi for sure if you are not worried about spyware or your photos and videos going somewhere they are not suppose to... I was on the verge of getting one also but changed my mind last minute.

regarding the spyware thing... if you google briefly you will be scared... then if u research more you will be reassured that it's some cloud function thing... then if u research even more and you will be scared again...
