feel that icbc is the dbs of china and boc is the ocbc, but i think the price would have reflected for that so either one is fine

maybe im missing something or some inherent loan risk

but for some reason boc seems more popular among the ppl i know

but where is the UOB?

Amongst our sg-born brand, my well-loved is UOB : https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/...nd-uob-part-2.5892846/page-249#post-141719453

although commoners tend to Luv DBS ONLY, not sure why though

I m sorry, i do not go for commoners' thinking!!!!!!!!!

just like how i picked Gems from Reits
im happy for u that u can derive a sense of achievement and self actualization banking with uob

in terms of services i think both complement each other but stock wise im still with dbs

I'm a commoner, you ask me to pronounce 'Sasseur' I don't know how..

In 2020 I bought DBS at $21 and $23. I only found out recently it is more than $30 😅 Vested in OCBC, UOB and DBS, every year collect dividends... better than ATM machine. Whats not to like? 🏧

why is this a sasseur or reits thread? or @ SYfe reits thread too

anyone can discuss it over at S-reits or Sasseur thread (even though this is abt China)

How is DBS even china? U may wish to ref to the many bank stk threads we hve : or STI threads as major constituents are Banks too

wish to hear more on Nio/Grab stkers instead , not so much of Reits

but feel free to discuss yummy like Seazen properties esp after Evergrande issues

I just hope what happened to Japan in the 80s don't happen to China. Decades of low rates don't have much of an impact.

Am starting to see some similarities with the aging population.
