Uh, Kingboonz has kind of nailed it; you're buying high and selling low, bigtime.

A good way to think about it, since it looks like you're actively trading rather than long-term buy-and-hold investing: if you didn't own those stocks already, would you buy them right now at these prices?

Remove that sense of attachment, that hope that maybe you'll get back to flat, and it'll make it a lot easier to look dispassionately at your positions.

I sold most of my US stocks recently at their historical highs (before the big drop in past few weeks). Trade wars will hurt both China and US itself anyway (just a matter of time). US still on sugar because of tax cuts but it won't last long (I am sure about that).

China stocks had dropped so much that you may end up selling at low price, so might as well sell stocks that are still at historical highs (like US stocks). :s13:

Ervino senpai please recommend which market is good to buy now

FSM has recently released bullish articles on China H-shares and China banks.

The cheapest H-share ETF is on HKSE with TER of 0.55%, but the SGX listed Lyxor China enterprises ETF (synthetic) is quite close behind with TER of 0.65% (and us$710.7m fund size).

I'm vested with the Lyxor ETF since GFC but now I have an FSMOne account, my preference is for the HKSE listed ETFs for China exposure.

If u r holding tech stocks, can jus sell.

Even if the trade war is over, the tech war will rage on.
