Lots of shops in SL sells it (i assume u r referring to the usb cable)

1. Take escalator from ground /1st floor to 2nd fl. Go left past the sex shop and past the unit selling food. It is next to the food stall - sells Unicell batteries and all sorts of cables.

2. 3rd floor on the right of the escalator. Shop has a green signboard - cant remember the name but very sure this shop has the cable

3. 4th floor - corner shop opposite shop selling chinese tablets. Turn left from the top of escalator. This shop also sells a very good dual-port usb wall charger for ard $12

4. 6th fl - shop selling cables that has been operating for a long time

Plus lots of other shops. Also not forgetting Sim Lim Tower across the road which specialises in electronic and electrical components

I tried the 2nd floor which sells alot of spare parts tts for soldering. They din sell it. I also went to sim lim tower they dun havbit too. But i try those shops tt sell china tab. Will trybsome day

I agree that the included player is usually very capable of plying back most codecs but i like the MX Player interface where u can just slide up/across the screen to control brightness, volume and skipping

i like the following player, best can combine 3 into 1

mx player has best user interface, all feature easy

dice player for the minimise player feature

owl player for allowing to play multi video (best for playing short clips)

if all can go into 1 player would be best...

my included player was gone as using custom rom. :o

It depends on what you are playing back... full HD 1080p mp4 files should playback in HW decoder... but mkv files may default to SW decoder... that's my experience... actually the supplied video player in all these Chinese tablets is extremely powerful and will playback anything you throw at it... so I don't install MX Player for my China tablets leh... I use it only for brand name tablets which don't promise 1080p playback, same for brand name mobile phones...

Edit: And if I have to install the codecs for MX Player, I just install all lar... no harm... anyway you should have more than enough space...

1080 movie file is how big?

i played only those 300mb or 500mb files only.

Anybody bought mic tablet from Merimobiles before?

The price is quite competitive compare to Aliexpress since they have free shipping worldwide.

My Mini One's wiring reception isn't very good. My too faces another room where my wireless router is located. The doors of the rooms face one another and the router is just at thr door. You can see the router standing a the door of my room. But I get only two bars. And the signal drops often. So its not as good. Just acceptable only. I also get some inexplicable reboots. Nothing serious just irritating. All other aspects have been very good.

My PiPO U8 has the same problem. I hv the wireless router in my living room and signal is strong within the same area. But once in room, signal is weak, it drops till 2-3 bars. Watching youtube or xinmsn long videos needs to buffer or reload.

For charging the PiPO U8, it's best to OFF the unit, I had a few times of unit "Freezes" in Sleep mode while charging. It can't wake up and need to reset. Overall the PiPO U8 is still acceptable.

I don't think they are the cheapest. In fact, they seem to be a bit more ex but i like their support (judging from their quick responses to all the queries and their posting of updated firmwares). Am tempted to get the Pipo M7 Pro from them

Just checking, do all china tablets have incompatibility issues for the 3.5mm headphone jack? I tried 2 tablets and both don't seem to support my Sony and Phillips earphones as only one side is working.

Both earphones tested working on my phone.

Is it Mic tablets has weak wifi as compared to branded tablets? Weak as in low signal, drop signal etc.

Which brand has good wifi for youtubing, router will be in another room, I am looking for 7.9in tablet.

I have a Samsung 7.0 and Toshiba 7.7 both have very good wifi, no drop, youtube very smooth.
I used to have Hyundai 8.0...the wifi signal very weak, sometimes drop signal. All this youtubing at same distance, circumstances.

I am looking for 7.9in 4:3 tablet and looks like only MIC, mini ipad is nice but looking for android.

How is chuwi v88 and vido minione, looking at these two.
Also anybody using teclast p88s selling $218 in Qoo10.

Wifi and stability is most important factor, speed is not important, I don't game much.

I thought pipo u8 has wifi 2.4 and 5Ghz band, so the wifi will be very strong?

it seems to be a hit or miss with the wifi issue, though most (if not all) china tablets declare that its supports 802.11 bgn but still some users encounter wifi issues.

Yes inserted all the way.

The seller told me there will be some compatibility issues as my earphone gold-plated connected got 3 strips instead of 2.

I have the Vido Mini One.
WiFi seems good.
The only problem i get during start-up is must wait for the icons to load finish for the first time before doing anything, otherwise it will black out and must turn it on again.

I use it mainly for ebook reading and streaming of movies via the HDMI.
