if the price cheap and only for media and light surfing use why not..

Guess I am biased.

I like to use 8 inch tablet (Huawei Matepad M5 Lite 8.4 inch China version, bought in 2019). I use it mainly for Chinese Entertainment Apps (no need Google GMS).

Now I am trying to get used to an 11 inch tablet (Huawei Matepad 11 SE 2024 Active Edition, China version, bought recently) -- just feeling it is too big.

just received my xiaoxin pad pro gt with the lenovo pencil pro and keyboard.

first impressions, it's pretty good, especially for the price (~400). mainly bought it to take notes with and the pen does not disappoint. it has sound and haptic vibration when writing and it sells the illusion that you're writing on something quite well, unlike the apple pencil or s-pen when I tried in stores.

^

no issues 1 month in, got quite a few software updates between that time too.

my only complaint is that I wish the pen magnet was stronger as it's quite easy to slide the pen off and that the keyboard case only covers the back and not the sides. dropped my tablet and it hit the corner and dented it slightly  (functionally still works fine)

both lenovo official branded ones.

for the pen can search lenovo stylus pro (联想手写笔Pro), to be safe the listing should specify that it works for the pro gt. it should charge magnetically (no usb ports) and have the haptic features.

for the keyboard can search xiaoxin pro gt magnetic keyboard (联想小新Pro GT磁吸键盘).
honestly if you don't mind using a bluetooth keyboard (or don't need one) instead then any case is fine. as I mentioned, the official keyboard case only covers the back and not the sides so there is less protection.

Just recieved my Honor Pad X7
Gotta say SD 680 + emmc + 4/64
Performing much better than my Redmi Pad 1
MT G99 + ufs 2.2 + 3/64

That 1 GB ram on a tablet really is the linchpin even far outstripping better cpu and storage on such tight ram budget. Else it's the tablet OS difference but i feel might just be the ram
