hmm i always tot lenovo tablets have L1 (from my previous 2 models)

I'll check when I get home... got to install DRM INFO to check... but I suspect if using China ROM, it will be L3 cos the tablet is not meant to access US media from China (got the Great Firewall)...

i got the y900 13inch 16gb and 512gb for around $670 from PDD.

only thing maybe something not good about china tablets is netflix is L3, but for the price i think it's ok

imho for just media usage i.e drama/youtube etc, i'll recommend the Lenovo pad pro 12.7 2025 (aka Idea Tab Pro for global rom), ~$300
comes with Dimensity 8300 which is more than capable enough even for mid gaming

if prefer with local warranty then can only get much way weaker chip at same price

3 years for most tablets definitely wouldn't lag, but of course depends on usage and housekeeping.
4 - 5 year really depend on support and chip liao. Do research what brands you are comfortable with since there's quite a number of brands out there, then can better recommend you.
And take a look at the support - update lifecycle too.

I personally prefer POCO, can keep a lookout.
Yes, anything from CN are CN ROMs, you need to flash to Global ROM yourself
