China Tablets to recommend

Hi, i just bought the Novo 8 from the same shop you mentioned...it is 259$...only one question...how to install the android market manually? Pretty confused as this is the first time i using android system lol...

Any help will be appreciated.

Performance wise...not bad...can play MKV, RMVB,AVI, etc etc. Will post more review later

i think cannot install android market unless you found custom rom for your device...

i beleive if you try install google earth apk also will not work

Don't know why after each shutdown, the game left a dummy icon and said game not installed.

Tried some RMVB files but it's choppy.
*Edit: Used wrong app. The default video player is smooth.

4. install marketenabler , settings list , [US]T-Mobile , fake this provider now.

5 restart the machine (be sure to reboot)

Yes...same problem...installed both angry birds...both angry birds and angry birds rio..and everytime reset they're gone...dunno why

Need to use Root Explorer, Permissions.

I have created a Google Account using non gmail address and able to login on pc browser. The Android Market refused to login and insist on gmail address. Any solution?

Ok thanks! I just got into the android market!
i just created a gmail account...and it works somehow!! heres what i do

- after i open the market it ask me to register a new account or login...and i choose create new account

then i just fill up the form...and after done i can access the android market!

i dont really know how come you cant access the market...

i am trying to download something from the market now...will let u know how it goes.

as for angry birds...dunno why the normal angry birds and angry bird seasons...both are gone after i restart...but angry birds rio still ok...maybe cuz i installed both angry birds and angry birds season using normal apk pack installer before they still in the cache?? geez...dunno how to solve this one now...

but at least can access market

When i was there they still have plenty of stocks...like 6 or 7...but all white colors, no black one. There is a display set, you can play with it. I actually tested the device for about 15 mins before i made up my mind lol.

Did you notice after power down, sometimes it cannot power on (on battery even fully charged)?
The screen brights briefly and nothing happens. Need to plug in AC then it will power on.

*Edit: Need to "press and hold" the power button.

Nope..havent experience it before...i only off my device around 3-4 times so far haha...but yes...to power on you need to hold the power button mah...not just press it once only...hope that helps

- build in storage 8 gb (usually china tables only like 1 or 2gb build in mem)
- tested some games mostly played fine. angry birds rio play smooth
- most video format works fine (mkv, rmvb, avi, mov, mp4, etc etc)
- cheap

Cons:
- No GPS
- No Bluetooth
- Android Market must install ourself
- Short Battery Life

It's a challenge to install Android Market. But after that my major concern is only the battery life. Initial impression: overall it's a good device at this price. Hope it can lasts 1 year

The battery life itself is a concern....
no gps or bluetooth is ok
No android mkt is ok...could tried others else, find apk to download...
