hi, I am planning to o ZHANGJIAJIE or Chongqing towards end of Feb. I want to avoid the peak period so that it will be less crowded. Can advise what will be good time? Thanks.

End of Feb should be fine since its already passed the peak period where most will be returning to work instead?
Otherwise, start of March to be safe?

Believe mid Feb onwards will be fine, just the crowds returning back to work mostly.
Though there might still be tourist too.

It is more prudent to go later, in my opinion, when the temperature is in the range 10-20s so you do not need either fleece jackets or thermal wear.

yes, to plan end feb or early Mar, most importantly before the peak.
My colleague was at ZHANGJIAJIE last week. it was quiet and they hv managed to cover more places.

Winter, most prefer to stay at home n make baby....

1st week of Mar is good to travel there.
