I watched one of his short drama on Viu n Wa so gd acting so wasted
Next moment saw him in simi 云羽？something and he just boom in long drama

She’s not v pretty compared to others but just like watching her drama

there’s one lady nowadays always saw her too n like her acting n she’s quite pretty

the thing with short drama , male leads seem more yandao n those that can act r really v pro compared to female

no wonder that time the male lead even posted n comment on the unprofessional of a FL

these production houses expanding to overseas markets, incl of the US (ang mo dramas), with good success.

know someone working in their US office with good perks (salary 5-figure USD with housing allowance).

The truth is these MiniDrama production value is quite low... the YouTube version I see have their background music removed most of the time.. probably to avoid YouTube copyrights strike.. that is why it is not the full version...

Their full episodes drama series... I see also not very interested... that is why these lower production value MiniDrama... with interesting themes and even crazy story is at least short enough to enjoy on its own...

Yeah... the female actress carry half the show.. and the rest have to be carry by their story... if it is not interesting I just skip... I like those time travel, isekai theme.. but not all are good though...

Wah lao many years did not hear about Dailymotion liao.. they still surviving?

The last time I went there was to find some Gravure video... as their censorship is not as bad as YouTube... and that was many years ago.. as nowadays Gravure also not very popular liao...

The very weird ones are those original voice removed and replaced with English dub using AI voice, really 很难听.

i watch youtube on another browser incognito mode .... every day have to re-select the voice back to original language because default is english AI voice translate

Too many story overlapping and similar... I think the rise of such minidrama probably to cater to the china netizens... no time to watch full 40 episodes drama... hence watch this type.. and usually it is like a sort of 精神鸦片，to numb them to the daily rigor and hardship of real life... giving them hope of one day also go Isekai or Time slip.... and restart life with special cheat ability...

Same as Japanese Isekai anime...

One thing these MiniDrama have that is better than typical Isekai anime is the bad people are very well written.. probably got many real life examples to base on... all the 坏婆婆，贱村民，and all the shameless relatives that demand whatever money the ML or FL comes into. Really damn evil and greedy.

Found another funny translation, context is poor boy just sold a valuable antique for a ton of money:

Mother: 这么多钱
Son: 妈妈，你放心，这些钱都是干干净净的。就是我卖个老物件。

Translation

Mother: That's a ton of money
