Just finished watching, the story is not bad.. but considering you have to spend 7hours to watch... the same time could have been watching 5 to 7 minidrama... and probably more shiok... the pace of the story is extremely slow... some of the highlights are the 花魁 dance competition...

This live action of 凡人修仙传 looks promising... I cannot stand the 3D-ish animation... of the original long running series.

While the long form mainstream series are nice... but I think due to more stringent regulations... hardly see any 擦边 stuff... been a while I see an entire series with zero 擦边 eye candy...

Was watching the proper 凡人修仙传 on viu... damn... it is so good..

Because YouTube one is either locked behind paywall or else is butchered version anyhow joint with other episodes or series.
