Choosing a case for budget build

Hi.

I'm going for a budget gaming build (i3 + HD7770) and I was wondering if the CM Elite 241 (apparently I can't post links, pl google it) is good for something like that.

A bunch of my friends mentioned air flow issues. Advice?

Think Videopro is selling it at $52. Although i would have prefered to recommend FD Core 3000, Nzxt Tempest 410 or Corsair 200R they are all priced at sub $100.

Airflow wouldn't be too much of an issue since the vent holes are stipulated at the decent location: i.e. near graphics card and towards CPU. TS's friends could be worrying due to the absence of vent on the front panel but there are actually holes on the sides of the front panel directed towards the HDD cage. I believe ambient interior temps will be slightly below average but not too much to cause heat issue.

More like the interior feature is horrible i would rather add another $30 ~ $40 and get a Core 3000 or 200R

The Elite 241 is a Mini Tower. Due to the size, you might face some fitting problem which would then post airflow problem. Adding additional fan would be a challenge as well. Which is why your friend is not wrong about airflow issues.

For budget build, I recommend CM Elite 430 Mid Tower. There's plenty of space for large graphic card and plenty cooling options. Ventilation checked.

If you're willing to spend a lil bit more, you can always go for CM HAF series.

There is absolutely no fitting issue with regards to graphics card, as far as HD 7770 is concerned.

And Elite 430 is one no better than Elite 241 with the typical outdated interior design where any other brand ones will make them looks pale in comparison.

is there any good casing that is similar to the sharkoon ms140 ( height 36cm ) and of the same price?? my issue is cause that model has 2 option fan slots which ive no idea wether im gonna get it and that the blue LED light at the front might be annoying when at night time
