which one is better?
MSI Tomahawk
Gigabyte Gaming 3

one m.2 ssd and recycle two old sata 7200rpm with raid 0
definitely going for at least 3200mhz ram

seems like tomahawk also had raid issue but a new bios version fixed it and new problems arise

leaning towards gigabyte
cheaper as well
but hope for more comments and experience

Take note that the msi B350 motherboards don't have USB 3.1 gen 2 (10gbps). They only have USB 3.1 gen 1 (5gbps). Don't know why they would scrimp on that. Was a deal breaker that led me to buying the gigabyte

which of the b350 boards has vrm heatsink for best overclock? like x370?

Does it affect how much you can overclock? Not as much as silicon lottery does.

hmm actually i would prefer gigabyte or asus..

haha so far my asus mobo is lasting me for 5yrs + and gigabyte gfx still going strong for 4yrs+

only my MSI 460gtx gfx died within 2years

I've only use Asus & Gigabyte before so I highly recommend this two

Brand affinity not there. Hahaha. If you don't mind the red colour scheme, gigabyte ab350 gaming 3 look not bad. Asus one design very meh..

Both brands are very reliable, I'd agree.
