Choosing MacBook Pro

Hi I need some of your pro's opinion on choosing the MacBook Pro

There's 2 type of 15' MacBook Pro, at $2688 and $3288(with extra graphic card).

Main purpose to buy this MacBook Pro is for photo editing and with some music production software, do you think there's a big different in speed and other performance between $2688 & $3288? Affecting a lot?

If too expensive can look for the refurb 2014 with the GT750m. about $2.8k IIRC.

Have read online that the Macbook Pros with graphic cards fail very early...If you are not doing something extremely graphic intensive, go for the 2688 model.

That's not true, I had a 2010 MBP with nVidia GeForce 320M and after using it for over 5 years, still working perfectly, the thing that failed was the HDD.
