sorry let me rephrase.... i mean for the 3.5%... do they look at average daily balance to give interst?
Read the tnc for yourself for avoidance of doubt.

Important Note:
  1. Comparison month refers to end-of-day balance on 31 May 2024.
  2. To qualify for bonus interest / profit for the current month, month-end incremental balance for the current month needs to be more than S$5,000 in fresh funds# compared against the comparison month end-of-day balance.
*** Daily Incremental Balance must be minimally S$5,000.

**** Month-end Incremental Balance must be minimally S$5,000.

Hi all,
im an existing cimb customer, hv fastsaver but less than $1 in my account. Given tt the 3.5% BI is for Jun and Jul, i will still be in time so as long as i deposit at last $5000 increment balance fr 1 Jul and maintain it till end mth. Correct hor?

No issue for me too. Just nice to remind me to withdraw out the money and left $5001 for BI, my month end balance for May is <$1

If I put in the > $5k today, will the 3.5% interest start count from Today (Sunday) or Tmr (1st July) ?

Anyone transfering between scb & cimb every 2 mths ?
Do note that CIMB is new player into this merry go round and they may not have consistent promos like HSBC or SCB.

Your safest bet would still be rotating between HSBC / SCB or maybe MayBank(?)
