Dear all,

Just check my account and found a bonus CR "Saving bonus" $3.75 deposited on Dec 3. My account balance is around 17K. I joined in Oct promotion, by right the bonus interest should be in at the end of Dec. Anybody know what this saving bonus is? Will cimb put customers into different promotion batch mistakenly? Their management of the different batches seems quite unclear... Thanks!

Thanks for your reply! Can elaborate a bit more? I thought the interest got 2 parts: base interest at each month end, and Bonus interest at the end of Dec(one shot).

I transferred monies in September to partake in the promo, that means I will receive the bonus interest end Dec ?

yes, if you take part in sep promo means sep-nov, payout of bonus interest will be in end of dec

He meant the salary/recurring $1k 0.5% bonus int.

This is the first time joining CIMB promo. Just to confirm for the current CIMB promo for FastSaver, I just need to deposit a minimum of $5000 into the account by Dec 31 to earn the 3.2% p.a. interest rate until Feb 2025?
No other steps required besides the $5000 fund deposit?

A bit late for the CIMB PAY DAY and SAVINGS PROMOTION, if I setup the $1000 monthly GIRO standing instruction today, will the GIRO transfer completed within the same day? Which are the recommended bank(s) to be used for setting this up? Thanks in advance for any guidance on this.

Have you tried setting it up? Usually it'll take 3 working days to be effective.

BOC can set up SI on GIRO for same day, and funds arrived next working day. No 12hr cooling period too, for new payee

probably too late. it takes 2 days or so to execute the GIRO after setting up.

U had 3 mths to do this. Maybe next promo gives $200.

I just realized about this promo today. Hopefully will have similar ones next month.
