for those on Dec to Feb. so do we empty all $ now?
You should have emptied on 1st March 2025.
That was what i did and i have emptied out the bonus interest as well ;)

Anyway, since you already left your money in till today, why not just leave for till 1st April to get the full base interest?
Alternatively, where are you intending to move it to at this time?

ah i left the min amt of 5k in - just to be sure never violate any tnc

probably move it to esaver with 2.9% for apr. else t bill

There is no need to empty cimb accounts any more? Starting from April, the interest rate does not depend on new funds (based on a date), if you are existing account holder.
CIMB is like SC eSaver.
Their interest ain't that good outside of promos and CIMB no longer has any promos running already as of 29 March 2025. I will edit this portion if they suddenly have a promo next month.

For lower amount up till 75K (just some SDIC stuff if you care about it) , Maribank and GXS are no brainer.
Heck, even waiting for eSaver april promo may be worth it to some extent.

So let me ask you this, how much are you to retain in CIMB and have you considered other alternatives?
