My acct no. 10007XXXXX. I have been with fastsaver for super long, even before the 1.5% and 1.8% were implemented. I hope i am not wrong.

I tried to change my contact number and found out they dun display my current particulars in the platform.
My acc number starts with 10003 for starsaver and 10004 for fastsaver but what does that have to do with falling interest rates? :s11:

Hi. I just have to FAST trf 100K in today right to get the interest?

It seems like need to maintain 1K every day for the interest to be credited.

I intend to trf out the funds in mid month.

Interest is daily basis. Once a month it'll lump sum add to u

Haha think I may be older than u :o
I had my StarSaver before FastSaver is born. Old StarSaver account pays 0.9% instead of 0.8%. With current promo of extra 0.2% , it's 1.1%, quite respectable in today's int rate environment yah.

Have starsaver reduced the 0.9% or fastsaver reduced the 1% all these years, while the other banks keep changing int rates?

Starsaver still pays 0.9% for account opened before a certain date. FastSaver I don't know cos I just opened it on Sunday Lol. Can't do it via ibanking cos joint names. But still can be done online. I'm quite pleased it was a smooth and fast process.
Certainly I hope their rates stay longer.

Had a busy day and just realised esaver laosai-ed.

Moving over to fastsaver too, however just realised my old dormant Starsaver account cimbclicks ibanking's access have been suspended :vijayadmin: probably dormant for too long.

Wanted to call in but found out their call center operates till 7pm :s22:

wondering if i should just apply Fastsaver as a new customer (is the process instant?) instead of existing.

I was trying to open FastSaver-i account online since I'ev already the Fastsaver account. Below is what I saw on the fastSaver-i account:

Up to 1.0 % Profit rate p.a.
Shariah-compliant
Minimum Deposit of SGD 1,000

Anyone know what does it mean up to 1.0% profit rate p.a.?. :s11:Does it mean that the 1.0% rate is not guaranteed?

CIMB FastSaver-i is Singapore's first Shariah-compliant online savings account that not only gives you the convenience of opening your account online instantly, it also earns you a high profit rate of up to 1.80% p.a. with no fall below fees! CIMB FastSaver-i uses the Shariah concept of Murabahah (mark-up) to facilitate the deposit-taking activity from you to the bank.

They replace the interest for Fastsaver with profit for Fastsaver-i as there are some term Muslim cannot use.

Interesting that the interest rate is different for different time of Starsaver account opening. I have a Starsaver account and did not realise this. :s22:
Can I tell from the account number or do I have to call CSO to find out?:s11:
