Anyway Cimb app is now officially the worst banking app. Even RHB (one of the last to have a banking app) has facial recognition login. I still got to key in the ID and password to login. Zzzzzz

CIMB quite acceptable, still got all the basic facilities available, Maybank is the worst, not much function

Anyone knows if CIMB Fastsaver interest is calculated based on daily end -of-day balance or based on monthly average daily balance? Thanks!

You have not seen ICBC and HSBC. Maybank much better than these.

For example, if I place $100k for 5 days in CIMB Fastsaver, I will still be getting EIR of 0.825% for that 5 days, right?

Asking on behalf of a friend. My account was opened many years ago so can't advise.

1. Fastsaver can be opened online. Is account created immediately or need to wait ?

2. Read that they have digital token. So is the internet banking available immediately after account is opened or still need to wait for hardtoken or some kind of approval ?

I just opened a Fastsaver account online and it was created immediately, but I am an existing CIMB customer for Starsaver. So I am not sure for new to bank cases.

Then cannot. Got to wait for them to sms the code 的. Not same day

The other time mine met hiccup so the code couldn't work. I ended up go to their branch to get it done on the spot

I just realized that there is no longer an option for me to apply for another FastSaver account after I opened my sole FastSaver account.

The only available option now is FastSaver-i. Is there any difference between FastSaver and FastSaver-i?
