After i saw their recent email notification on the interest rate revision, i finally decided to close the account. Used to put $1k just to earn interest but now really see no point to keep this account. Hopefully when the market is better, cimb will come up with new customer signup promo.

haha same same, i put my funds from CIMB Fastsaver to RHB High Yield early last month, the rest put into Singlife. Wonder is there any better way, although I prefer high liquidity in my funds

I guess they have exceeded the limit for SingLife which is 100k.

RHB is more flexible..no 20k limit daily withdrawal and almost instantaneous...singlife too much limitation for some..

Anyway I m shifting out. Have been banking with them since the early days of their starsaver, more than 10yrs back.

Their account from one of the better ones to becoming the worst in the market.... aiyo. Cimb destroying all their products one by one - credit cards now deposit. What’s next

I've already started moving some funds out of Fastsaver though... 1 Nov is a weekend, who knows what may happen to their FAST transfers if there is a large outflow of deposits
