to put in perspective

the $588 adds another 0.4x % pa or so over 6 months to the 3.5% pa ... depending on when your 6mths start

ok .. make sure get confirmation when your 60 days start n end

For NTP, my understanding is that it shld start when account is funded to 250k (not when Preferred status is activated)

... although u have up to 30days to fund, given the 3.5% lasts til end Feb24, it may be better to fund sooner, rather than later

slightly different TnCs for the earlier (Jul 2023) Preferred Acquisition
1. the 3.5% promo (base int + BI) was not in place
2. In the previous preferred acquisition TnCs, additional 1% bonus int for 1st 3 months of deposit
3. Cash gift for $250,000 fresh funds - $388

I expressed interest for preferred & then agent called me, says need to meet up in order to enrol to this bonus, dunno true or not. Then thru phone also offered me SInglife saver IV policy which is a 2 year endowment at 4.15% pa, but min 80K per year premium. woah! need to do some homework before meet up to decide...

What and when was this ? I thought Singlife IV is already closed for application long ago. And their min was lower than 80k.

Better make sure not scam.

checked with CIMB RM, that SingLife tranche has closed, as we know

RM says there are other SingLife plans, not publicly advertised. I did not press for details as I don think I would be interested

t&cs: "Bonus Interest/Profit (if any) will be accrued daily and credited into the Qualifying Account(s) on the 20th day of the following month. If the 20th day of that month falls on a weekend or public holiday, it will be credited on the next working day"
