Esaver I also using. But I move some fund to hsbc for the 4.6% for 1 month then move back to esaver again. The hsbc t&c are clearly shared in the hsbc thread.
I thought for Hsbc 4.6%, need to keep the fund till 31 March?

I tried to transfer out fund via FAST from CIMB but failed, it says Failed - Dormant Account.
I tried to transfer $1 from other bank to CIMB hopefully to activate the account. Able to receive the $1 but still unable to FAST the fund out to other bank.
My CIMB is not $0 balance, but no transaction, only transactions are the interest and bonus interest from the recent 3.6% promo. Like that considered dormant?

Anyone has the same problem? How to resolve? Ridiculous that I can’t transfer out my own money!!!

Call the bank up. It's a security measure if you have not used your account for a while.

Last night when cimb app was down for maintenance, I thot of logging in via browser but I couldn’t proceed as my old password was deemed not meeting the new password requirement and was asked to use singpass or use authentication code. But I dunno how to proceed as no link for both and I also wanna make sure I do not jeopardize my cimb app login so I didn’t proceed.
Anyone encounter this before? What should I do to reset my internet banking password?

Encountered this back when they pushed an update and reduced the password length back in Oct.

I would advise you to use your phone and use singpass to reset it. Link is in the link below, do read through.
https://www.cimb.com.sg/en/personal/important-notices/0923/updates-to-cimb-click.html

Alternatively, they have an SMS method to reset it but they will perform manual verification and send you the activation code the next working day or two

Will this mean a downtime to my app access also? This is what I am trying to avoid. Cimb is my administrative bank for now.

Regardless, you should now already be blocked from accessing your bank account on CIMB Clicks. So in the end, you are forced to reset it.

You can try to see if you can login on your phone app first. Else have to do reset via singpass as i assume you wont have the 2 days leeway to wait for the activation code for password reset.

Phone app no issue. Only in internet banking I can’t log in due the the new password policy. Wondering why there are treated differently.

Then just wait till weekday and get in touch with them.
For my case, i was successfully authenticated with my fingerprint then that something about password blah blah appeared and i was kicked out.
