CIMB SG can open CIMB MY but the process is very long. Best go Msia CIMB branch to open. CIMB SG to MY offer the best exchange rate from SGD to MYR. So good until last year website and app crash and CIMB announced due to users keep checking the rate. A lot of Msian, Msian SPR using this to remit monies back to Msia my spouse included. That is how good the rate is. Once into CIMB MY use DuitNow to transfer to other banks or ppl save a lot of monies.

Above info some I get from Msian forum some from my spouse side.

Yes to receive the vouchers, hopefully soon. I did not keep a 1K amount inside my CIMB account, hopefully this does not disqualify my Taka vouchers.

This one no experience as spouse ask they say take weeks so she never ask further. Maybe you go try and then feedback to this forum?

I know the other way is doable from Msian forum. Msian already have CIMB MY so they apply for CIMB SG and it works all password etc credentials send by mail to their Msian address. I believe since CIMB is Msian bank this way is ok. But the other way hehe CIMB MY being the master may not allow

Btw Msian come Spore DBS open multi-currency account also doable although not working in Spore. The step by step process how to do can get form Msian forum they very willing to share to their fellow Msian. Why open Spore bank account is they want to buy SGX REIT stock so need an account to receive the dividends.
