Can I check, for the Standing instruction of $1000 per month to earn the additional interest, do you get it each month the transfer is done, until Dec 2024?

The last column of the CIMB interest rates table stated: "Additional Interest / Profit Rate (p.a.)^ (0.50％)

Will the DBS's standing order/instruction set-up form qualify as "Standing instruction via GIRO" ?

anyone set up SI from DBS before. will it meet the condition? previously my SALA via paynow from my company did not qualify me for the taka voucher...... but that is beyond my control leh

I set up the SI in DBS but i cannot tell if it is acceptable in CIMB since there is no indicator.

So... anyone have gotten an answer for this matter?

It’s only the basic interest rate that is paid out end of the month yes?

And also, do I need to fulfil the whole promo period to get the bonus interest rate at the end of the promotion period? Let’s say July I put money inside and then I qualify for the >$5k etc etc, and start of August I withdraw out all the money. Will that withdrawal affect only just August, or will I also not get my bonus interest for July as well at the end of it all?

Yes basic interest at month end, bonus after promo period ends.

For your scenario, July you'll earn interest but August you would not.

you need to keep min$5k in your balance on 31 Jul. you may withdraw your fund on 1 Aug. you will get prevailing interest on 31 Jul. bonus interest will only paid on 31 October.

this promo quite confusing, different cso tells me different things.

CSO1 told me can treat this like FD, the same amount placed during the 3 months can earn the bonus interest.
Example, this month I placed Fresh $30K, and i just keep the same $30K until 31 Oct, these 3 months can get bonus interest. The amount is $0 for 31 July Comparison Month.

CSO2 told me fresh funds valid only for the respective month, cannot rollover.
Using the same example as above, the $30K will only earn bonus interest for August, if i keep the same amount, Sep and Oct will not earn bonus interest. I need to deposit New Fresh Funds to earn bonus interest for the respective month.
