So I kena confuse why talk abt Aug, when for Oct promo only matters is EOD Sept bal is $0.

Some of them failed to notice the clause where was already present in aug batch, hence I guess people were surprised it exist because, let's be real, who reads past TnC

Hence the reason for posting all the TnC again so they can easily compared if they bothered

The keyword is top up so with your current situation, you should be eligible but to be honest, best person to answer you is still CIMB

I last took part in the June cycle so I compared the TNC but didn't see it so was wondering what's this for. To play safe, I called the CSO and confirmed I was eligible before transferring. I did had some small deposits during Aug and Sep including bonus from CIMB itself.

I believe June cycle was the first tranche hence no such tnc. Anyway what u did to call the cso was the best way. They r the best person to advise.

I just looked at the pdf and understood that aside from incremental amount , to qualify for sept promo cannot "deposit" on same promo during june july august

I was june batch but did additional increase deposit in july .... means I need to merry go round longer outside for at least 2 months , rather than only 1 month I was expecting

Hmm if you phrased it this way, then I am not sure.

Likely blocked due to fraud control. Give them a call. This more likely to happen if you're a senior citizen.

When I first created the account in middle of July 2024, I was able to test FAST transfer of $10 into and out of my CIMB account. Only upon successful test transfers then I transferred 150k (in 3 tranches of 50k) from my other bank account.

If following this trend, I guess Jul and Aug bonus interest for July-Sep promo should be credited today or within these few days? So far, anyone received yet?

There is no trend. Which month promo are you in?

June promo was special
Jul promo bonus interest will be given out on 31 Oct

It is already stated in the TNC

Thanks for pointing out. Just noticed that June promo TNC explicitly stated that bonus interest is credited on 2 Sep and 30 Sep. So I guess July promo should also follow the TNC which is on 31 Oct.

CIMB plays smart with KEY word 'OR'.

I purposely asked that question to verify becasue I suspect not batch related. But CSO said Jun-Aug batch.

If batch related, CIMB can word Tnc this way " if the customer has already joined Jun-Aug Bonus Interest Promotion then he/she will not be eligible to register for this Sep-Nov Promotion."

If you got deposit funds min incremental bal 5K in Jul or Aug, think play safe call CIMB to check on personal eligibility for this round.

Update: Spoke to a 2nd CSO, he said as long as got deposit incemental bal 5K in any period stated in Para 4d, not eligible this round.

hmm, why not open 2 a/cs - Fastsaver and Fastsaver-i?

then 3 mths use Fastsaver a/c, the next 3 mths use Fastsaver-i a/c. Rinse and repeat

Good idea...but some clarifications pl

1)what is fastsaver-l pl in your post above..is it for example a joint ac with a family member
2) many times for such promo fresh funds may be required and the funds may not originate from the same bank other accounts pl( these funds do not qualify pl)

Fresh funds means from other banks. Say you earn bonus int in 3-mths for $100k from Fastsaver a/c. Then you FAST transfer to say DBS a/c (or to be safe FAST transfer from DBS a/c to OCBC a/c). Then you FAST transfer back to your Fastsaver-i a/c from your OCBC a/c to start a fresh new 3-mths bonus int period.

I don't think need to be SI right, as long as its a giro transfer with the correct description such as "SI - CIMB" will do

I understand dbs can do it but usually not credited on same day

that's what I did. I still get my bonus int after 3 mths.
