Hmm, did everyone who got their bonus interest on 1st Nov get the correct amount?

I calculated this way:
The base interest for each month from July - Sept, which was received end of every month. (The amount has been correct)
The total interest for each month, Jul-Sept, based on 3.5% int rate.
The difference between both above values - should be the bonus interest received on 1st Nov? (which wasn't for me).

Did I calculate wrongly somewhere?...

Did the calculation and it was quite close. Did you adjust for the tiered base interest?

How much was the difference?

This theory holds, shouldn't be much difference if you were to 1.5 + 2.0 or 3.5 - 1.5

The next question is, was there any day that your balance was less than the required incremental 5K resulting you in not eligible for that day bonus interest?

Base interest is based on total balance.
Bonus interest is based on total balance less ADB for August.

Edit - should be ADB for June (not August)

I just deducted: total interest (based on 3.5%) minus base interest.
The base interest calculation was adjusted for tier, if that's what u're asking...

Nope, my balances were in tens of thousands... so didn't drop below 5k any day. And my june balance was basically 0.

I think that clause 4d in the Nov promo is to exclude those who are already on the Sep or Oct promo from having 2 concurrent promos at the same time.

This is just my view on this clause. We will know the answer on 28 Feb.

funds transfer within CIMB accounts not counted as fresh funds.

using monthly ADB*3.5% to estimate the monthly total interest (base + BI) is correct method provided there isn't any days with balance falls below $5k incremental

Login to the app and try to make a transfer to other bank. See if it triggers the phone as authentication key setup.

Just to make sure, make sure the CIMB app has its notification turned on or something
Are your other apps recieving the proper notifications?

Yes Maybank interest faster to receive and MUCH EASIER to calculate !

CIMB ....I really dunno how to calculate coz got tiers... And then they split it again into prevailing and bonus, very complicated

SI SI - CIMB

I called the bank. Mine Double SI SI without CIMB will not be eligible.

But I see you got the magical 4 letter CIMB there, it should work. This bank is damn weird, they just want to see your remark CIMB hahaba
