Ahh i see. But just wondering since you did not input any comment at all. Why will have SI SI. By right should just have one SI.

Beats me, it should be default then. Cause I didn't put comments for recipient.. but SI is the transaction code for standing instruction.

So if we transfer in using normal giro with "SI - CIMB" will qualify?

Not sure how to setup standing instructions or if CIMB can detect it.

Can transfer in then transfer out right? I never see any condition that ADB needs to be higher than previous month. Hope I did not miss out things.

Bonus interest calculated on a daily basis. If ADB not more than 5K than comparison month, then no bonus interest for that day

Comparison month of Oct 2024 means last day of Oct 2024 which is 31st Oct 2024.

If your Nov 2024 last day of month which is 30 Nov 2024 dooes not have the required 5K increment compared to 31st Oct 2024, then you forfeit THE ENTIRE MONTH BONUS INTEREST

Before Section 6 - For the avoidance of doubt, customer will need to fulfil both end-of-month and end-of-day balance requirements above to be entitled to Bonus Interest/Profit on any day during the month. If customer does not fulfil 5(a) above, customer will not get Bonus Interest/Profit for the entire month even if 5(b) is fulfilled on any day in that month.

I was referring to the standing instructions of $1000 to be deposited in.

Assuming I maintain the ADB increase of $25k. Withdraw out $1000 then SI back in for 0.5% more interest. No prob right?

I can see my standing instruction for giro to CIMB displayed in my CIMB app > transaction list today. But the description is "SI SI - CIMB". Based on the term and conditions, it clearly stated the description need to be "SI - CIMB". Do I need to setup another SI with description "CIMB" because it seems like CIMB will automatically prepend the description with "SI"?

No need as long as it contains SI - CIMB. Another SI in front is fine

Can I check with those who participated in the flat rate 3.X% int. rate savings account promotion till end of October, when will the bonus interest be credited? Is it Nov 30th?

Aug Promo flat 3.4% (inclusive of prevailing interest) for interest-earning period Aug-Oct
bonus interest will be credited on 30 Nov 2024.
