Assuming it is all the same account.
The 5K deposit above the existing X amount so total is X + 5000

No. Since you deposited 5K SGD already in Dec 2024, you are registered for the Dec promo.
Even if you pumped 250K in Jan, you are still on the Dec 24 promo.

Thought Dec promo is for Jan to March 3.2%. So reference month in Dec of only $5,001 to $250,000 in Jan to March earning 3.2% right? Otherwise merry go round when and where? Got star saver account too but only $1 for years.

Double check your deposit date of that 5K falls in Dec or not, just to be sure.
Also keep a copy of the Dec promo for your own reference as well

I am an existing customer. I only deposited $5k on 7 Dec 2024. My bal on 30 Nov 2024 was $0. I will be angry if I don't get 3.7% from 7 to 31 Dec 2024.
