Was using UOB one all along, but this month balance drop quite some, so considering migrate to this CIMB offer.

For a long term account, DBS multiplier is a good alternative and "easier" to clock without having to be "forced" to use their credit card

Treat this CIMB fastsaver promo as short term FD, because if you keep moving money in and out, you may not have an accurate overview of how much interest you will get.

My Oct balance is $0. Today I transfer in 20K, and tmr plan another 55k. So as long as my my balance on Nov 30 is above 10k, I am eligible right?

31 Oct = Zero
1 Nov = Zero
2 Nov = 20k
3 Nov = 75k

please factor in this IF you do intend to calculate your interest earned as CIMB calculates end of day balance for the interest then gives it to you end of month for the base interest.

As long as on every last day of the month, your account has > 10k , you are safe.
Best is to always ensure >10k to be eligible for the bonus interest

I am considering to migrate back to UOB one or another promotion on Dec. So it is possible I may transfer out all balance from my faster saver account on Dec 1. Hope I can still get the interest for Nov on Mar 2027.

if you do move back, you will still get the bonus interest for NOV 2026. Do not worry about this.
Although in the same promo period, the month is independent of each other

You can also come back mid dec or in Jan 2027 and your promo will still continue

JUST ENSURE that you only leave after 30 Nov 2026. Only withdraw your money on 1st Dec

Yup, Tncs did not state criteria to sustain giro 1k, unless I overlooked.

Aug 2026, did SI -CIMB giro, same day 1000 in same day 1000 out. Received 0.5% BI.

The 0.5% is capped at 25k so is about 10+ dollar for each month correct?

Correct, 0,5% capped 25k, CIMB cr 10.61, using excel is 10.62.

If you join all the months, eg, me Jul Aug 2 months, CIMB will lump sum credit BI. Prefer separate Jul $XX, Aug $XX like this, coz in case of discrepancy, one shot see is which month, easier dui ma.

No secret. Do it early that day, from Monday to Thursday, not including PH, and it would usually be collected by receiving bank towards end of day.

Are you sure? It is a future recurring dated schedule say today you do earliest also 2 days later then send out. How can CIMB receiving bank receive your today do instruction at end of today?

You describe correctly the giro process. When funds come in CIMB, I transfer out on same day. Btw, not expert here, using HSBC so far is one work day later to enter beneficiary bank.
