I like the 3-mth option... short term and higher than 1% (fastsaver). may consider putting some emergency fund in there. 6 mths a bit long but 3 mths sound just nice.

SSB... am going to wait and see how the rates trend up. the allotted per month is getting so low it's not economical paying $2/$2 every mth for it.

So far, everyone get at least $10k... so it's just $4 to fill the $20k.

Anyone knows how to deposit the fund to the FD account after opening online? Use FAST?

Looks like the initial deposit will be a cheque from your personal account with another bank in Singapore.
Signature on the personal cheque should correspond with signature on application form.

If you have existing CiMB savings account , can apply online ibanking.
